I searched for mulch delivery in Dallas .

On September 23, 2026 I searched Google Maps the way a customer would, from the center of Dallas and four points 9 miles north, east, south and west of it, then opened the website of every yard that came up: 155 listings, 57 websites that opened. Below is who a customer sees and what they find after the tap. No business is named.

Who customers see

8 of the 41 searches came back with at least eight yards, and only those count. Pick where the customer stands and what they type.

How this was checked

Searches: 41 Google Maps searches on September 23, 2026 from the center of Dallas and four points 9 miles north, east, south and west of it. Queries were the kind a customer types, such as “near me”, “prices” and “best”. 8 came back with at least eight yards and count here.

Websites: for every listing, an automated check opened the home page and up to four inner pages the way a visitor's browser does. Nothing behind a login was opened. On September 24, 2026 certificates, call buttons and forms were checked again for 29 local yards.

The five checks: a site opens without a browser warning; it fits a phone screen; it has a contact or quote form or an email; it shows a price for material or a delivery fee; its number matches the Google listing and the call button dials a real number. A number the site draws with a script can be missed, so a site where no number was found is not counted against.

Limits: Google Maps files these businesses under 23 categories, so any one search misses some of them, and a yard that is not here may simply not have come up. Websites change, and this is one day.

  • Google Maps results. 41 searches on September 23, 2026: 8 queries from each of 5 points (the center of Dallas and four points 9 miles north, east, south and west of it) plus one metro-wide query. 8 searches came back with at least eight yards and count here.
  • Google business listings. Category, hours, phone number, rating and review count for every listing that came up on September 23, 2026.
  • Business websites. Every site that opened was read on September 23, 2026 in a full browser: home page and up to four inner pages such as contact, prices and services. On September 24, 2026 certificates, call buttons and forms were checked again for 32 sites, 29 of them local yards.
  • Published prices in this metro. A price counts only when it is for material by the cubic yard, a pallet, or delivery, checked by hand on September 23, 2026. Two city compost programs post $29.57 to $49 a cubic yard. Three sites post a delivery fee or charge, $35 to $100.
  • Browser behavior. Chrome and Safari show a full-page warning before a site with an expired certificate opens, and mark plain http pages Not secure.
  • What this check cannot see. Calls, walk-ins, sales, ad spend, and the quality of anyone's mulch or service. This page is about websites and Google listings only.

Correct or remove

If your yard is in this report and you'd like its row removed, or something in it is wrong, write to igor@sogrox.com with your website. It is done within two business days, no questions asked, and a removed yard is left out of future reports too.

Nothing here names a business, a person or a customer. Sogrox is not connected to any business in this report.
