Terms of service
The rules for the work I do under the name Sogrox. The short version is on the home page; this is the full one. Updated 24 September 2026.
What these terms cover
These terms cover the work I, Igor Sogrox, do under the name Sogrox for companies in the United States: the website, the Google listing, the forms and the phone, and the small tools behind them. When you approve a written scope or pay an invoice, you're agreeing to them.
Who I work with
Companies and self-employed owners in the United States. I don't take on private individuals. If your company is outside the US, write first and I'll say whether it works.
The first email
What I send after you give me your site's address is a list of what I'd fix first and what each item costs, written from what I can see from the outside: the site, the listing, the form, the phone number. It costs nothing and doesn't commit you to anything.
It's my opinion, not a guarantee, and I don't touch anything of yours until you've approved a scope.
Scope and price
Every piece of work starts with a one-page scope: the items, the fixed price for each, what I need from you, and roughly how long it takes. Nothing outside the scope is done or charged. If you want more, you get a new scope, and only that.
Monthly work, if you want it, is a flat amount per month in its own scope. You can stop it any month by email.
Payment
I invoice by email. Invoices are paid by card or bank transfer through Payoneer, the payment service I use. Card and bank details go to Payoneer on its own pages; they never reach me.
A scope under $1,000: I do the work first. Once it's live and you've checked it, I send the invoice, due within 7 days.
A scope of $1,000 or more is paid in three parts: 30% to start, 40% when you approve the work on a preview link, and 30% when it goes live.
Monthly work is invoiced at the start of each month. If an invoice stays unpaid, work pauses until it's settled; nothing already delivered is taken back.
The first three companies
The first three companies to approve a scope get 30% off that scope. In return, I can show the before and after of the work on this site with the company's name. Both are written into the scope.
Access to your site and accounts
For most work I need a way in. I ask for the narrowest access that does the job: a user of my own, delegate access, a collaborator invite. I never need your own password. I use the access only for the agreed scope, and you can revoke it at any time.
When a scope is finished, I tell you what to remove or reset on your side.
Your material
Photos, text, logos, prices, lists of towns: whatever you send me, you confirm you have the right to use it.
What ends up on your site is yours to sign off on. I flag anything that looks like it needs a license number, a permit, or a claim you can back up, but you're the one who knows your trade and your state's rules.
What I don't promise
Positions in Google, a number of calls, or what Google, Yelp, a phone carrier or a hosting company will do with a request. Where an item depends on a third party, the scope says so, and the item counts as done when the request is filed properly, not when the third party answers.
If something goes wrong
Tell me by email. If something I did doesn't work as the scope says, I fix it first, at no charge. If a fix in a scope under $1,000 still isn't what the scope said, you don't pay for that item. What happens with money in other cases is on the refunds page.
My responsibility for a scope is limited to the amount you paid for that scope.
Confidentiality
What I see in your accounts, your numbers and your customer list stays between us. I don't reuse it, quote it, or show it to anyone. The before and after for the first three companies is shown only as the scope says.
Ending
Either of us can end things by email. Monthly work stops at the end of the paid month. Work already delivered stays yours in your name, and anything paid for but not started is handled as the refunds page says.
Changes to these terms
When I change them, the date at the top changes. The version on the site when you approved a scope is the one that applies to that scope.
